Macomb County Adult Day Center set to reveal a new name and new look at its grand reopening event
Macomb Community Action, in partnership with the Martha T. Berry Medical Care Facility, are excited to invite Macomb County residents to the grand reopening of the Macomb County Adult Day Center.
The free open house will take place on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 21885 Dunham Road, Clinton Township, from 4 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. The event will showcase a number of updates to the center, while rolling out its new logo and name, the GoldenBerry Adult Day Caring Center.
MSU Extension to offer ServSafe® recertification class
MSU Extension is offering an eight-hour ServSafe® Training, developed by the National Restaurant Association and designed for food service managers whose certification needs to be renewed.
Review and testing will cover the updated changes to the 2013 Food and Drug Administration Food Code, as well as purchasing and receiving from approved services, storage policies, preventing food borne illnesses, employee personal hygiene and the Hazard Analysis and Critical Care Point.

Volunteers needed for Meals on Wheels shelf-stable meal delivery
Macomb Community Action’s Office of Senior Services is seeking volunteers to help with a special delivery for the Meals on Wheels program on Saturday, September 8, 2018. This one time delivery opportunity will provide seniors in need with shelf-stable meals for times when unsafe weather or other emergency circumstances prevent the normal delivery of hot meals in Macomb County.
