Macomb Community Action’s Office of Senior Services is seeking volunteers to help with a special delivery for the Meals on Wheels program on Saturday, September 8, 2018. This one time delivery opportunity will provide seniors in need with shelf-stable meals for times when unsafe weather or other emergency circumstances prevent the normal delivery of hot meals in Macomb County.

Macomb County MSU Extension is offering a Master Gardener Volunteer Program to Macomb County residents. This 14-week training provides an in-depth education in many aspects of horticulture, including trees and shrubs, flowers, fruits, vegetables, soil, water, pests, indoor plants, lawns and more. After completing 40 hours of volunteer community service, participants earn their Extension Master Gardener Certification, a widely recognized designation.
