MCPWO Adds Storm Drain Inspections
The Macomb County Public Works Office will conduct an inspection of the Lake Boulevard storm drain in St. Clair Shores, utilizing a state SAW grant.
The grant – for Storm water, Asset management and Wastewater (SAW) projects – will cover about $430,000 of the cost of the project, with the MCPWO covering $43,000. The storm drain, which runs under Lake Boulevard with multiple lateral connections between 12 and 13 Mile Roads, was constructed in the late 1950s/early 1960s and has never had a major inspection.
