New Employee TB and Physical Testing

TB Testing

Client must return to the clinic 48-72 hours after the skin test is placed in order to have their result read. You must have your test administered and read at the same location.

*All County Employees (new and current) MUST identify themselves as a county employee at check in to receive the testing at no charge.

*New County Employees - results will be forwarded to Human Resources and employee will receive a copy. Please be sure that you tell the Health Department receptionist that you are there to receive your pre-employment TB test for Macomb County.

*Other County Employees (annual tests, etc.) - will receive a copy of their results and the employee is responsible to provide a copy to their department

The following Macomb County Health Department Clinics provide TB testing on a walk-in basis.

You must obtain your mandatory pre-employment physical from Concentra -you must use this location: 33089 Groesbeck Highway, Fraser, Ml 48026

Concentra conducts physicals during the following hours; Monday- Friday 8 a.m. - 10 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Should you need it, their phone number is (586) 296-2800.

No appointment is necessary; they are a first come first serve facility. Your authorization for obtaining a physical has been faxed by our office to Concentra should you be asked. Please note that children are not allowed in the treatment area nor allowed to be left unattended in the waiting room.
